The flagship idea is Project Prosperity: a 600 MW solar plant in Jordan to export power to Israel, and desalination in Israel to send 200 million m³ of water a year to Jordan, brokered by the UAE. A declaration of intent was signed at Expo 2020 Dubai in November 2021 and an MoU at COP27 in November 2022. After October 2023, Jordan said it would not sign, and the project has been suspended.
