- September 2020: MBZUAI and the Weizmann Institute agreed to collaborate on AI research, including researcher and student exchanges (MBZUAI news).
- 2022: the Negev Forum set up an Education and Coexistence working group (US State Department archive: Negev Forum Steering Committee). Its framework aims to improve educational outcomes and ensure fair access to human development opportunities (Negev Forum Regional Cooperation Framework (UAE MOFA)).
- January 2023: the Forum's working groups met in Abu Dhabi (UAE MOFA, 10 Jan 2023).
